Icagen shares fell in Tuesday trading by as much as 25 cents, to 41 cents, before rallying late to close at 52 cents, down 21 percent from Monday's close of 66 cents. 17 cents, to 49 cents, in heavy trading Tuesday. The drop heightens the probability that the company will be delisted from the Nasdaq.

Nasdaq officials notified Icagen on Nov. 12 that the company was in danger of being delisted because its share price had closed below $1 for 30 consecutive business days. If Icagen can’t get its stock price back above $1 for 10 consecutive business days by May 11, the company will lose its Nasdaq listing.
