The image in my mind is that of a tsunami. Before the swell happens the tide goes out very far exposing reefs and terrain that has never been dry. Crabs and lobsters all get exposed and it is apparently very eerie. The wise know to run for the hills. The foolish start complaining at how low the tide is. Then it comes in and in and in and everything is washed away.
I hope this is that kind of low and means the great flood is nigh. But even if it isn't the bottom, so what? I don't expect to sell any of my meager 300K shares before the middle of next year or so, and I expect that by then, these days will be a lesson learned. I hope that means I will be able to pay two college tuitions.
Everyone is free to think what they want. Emotions do not tend to be great finacial advisors in my case, but maybe you know something I don't. If you leave at this point, well, good luck.
