Part of the disappointment today about the share price not sky rocketing is that our over all anticipation and expectations were too high. A stable stock is a good investment and a steadily rising and consolidating stock is preferable to a sky rocketing stock, if you are a long investor. I am long on KATX. I believe that KATX will prove up and the JV and the mining and the milling will happen. Everyone just needs to not view the share price with the same expectations as someone with a remote control and a TV. Instant ON and instant OFF, quick change of channels in less than a second. The investment world is not a remote control world.
People take time to absorb news and to sell other existing positions with less promise and to decide to purchase into a new investment...even if all the signs are positive. Investors are either too emotionally invested in a stock or they are not. Day traders are not usually the emotional (man I love this stock) type. I see nothing wrong with flipping a stock, if you have the time and the inclination and the stomach to do it. Sometimes you guess correctly and sometime not. The long term investors are sometimes the ones who fall in love with a stock. I believe it is best to keep romance out of stock trading. I LIKE KATX for many reasons that the excellent DD has shown here. The world economy and the price of gold and other metals is very favorable for the success of KATX. I think that the share price of KATX will rise and reconsolidate over the next few weeks and then more news will add to the positives we all seem to expect from KATX. I too expected more share price movement today, but it speaks well of this stock that slow and steady is what it is doing.
It is sometimes frustrating that a lot of what an investor does is sit and wait. We sit and ponder facts and opinions and banter back and forth about what we predict will happen next. Regarding KATX, we all will get what we get. I just happen to think that we will all like what we get if we keep heading in the direction I see KATX now going in.
