looking at the last hour break of "1.42 wall" as I suspected TGAL would hit my scan tonite on a good close. sure enough... the difference between today's close vs. the lowest low over the previous "x" periods makes up a good chunk of the numerator in the stochastics calculation. i should be able to do a spreadsheet calc before the scan is hit based on the reversal in the oscillator to determine what closing price would trigger the scan. now, if i only had the patience to exercise my rusty Excel skills
LOL...then i could frontrun my own scan, or at least, have an idea on those stocks that are falling toward oversold like FNSR that haven't reversed, of what kind of upmove would it take to trip my scan triggers.
please note that TGAL has not been that reliable a trading vehicle on my criteria...BUT it is a semi equip mfr. and the SMH is doing it's thing and Intel did it's thing so...you draw your own & make your own, of course.
