I just watched a good movie about a religious cult. It was September Dawn with Jon Woight. It is a loose review of the events of the Mountain Meadows Massacre. I does seem that Brigham Young was a vicious killer and covered up the shame until recently. Some of the truth is coming out and most of it is from Mormons. I admire their courage.
