Funny the new data submitted by the FINRA and the SEC makes SPNG an extremely average stock.

I took a look at the data for February 26 and while SPNG was at 43.57% short sale percentage, the average for the 2300 ORF category stocks was 45.57% or 2 points above SPNG. Over 270 of these companies had 100% of their trade volume reported as short sales. I then looked at the other categories and they too were near 40% short sale volume.

Bottom line, SPNG short interest volume is extremely average relative to the market and relative to what constitutes a short sale report. The data, without resolution, is meaningless and because of that any use of this data to submit a theory or abuse would be foolish.

Funny how data looks when you look at it with more open eyes.
