My guess is that one of the drags on the audit is Robison has been having major problems getting back those confirmation letters reconfirming the A/R balances from SPNG's customers in far-off places like Russia and South America.
You know, entities like SA Trading Co., Dubai Export Import Co., Fesco, et al. After all, if those entities are buying millions and millions of dollars worth of sponges, as has been previously reported, then why can't anyone find a physical office address for these companies and come up with a landline phone number for them? Hmmm?
Heck, even the Dubai Chamber of Commerce said something like "Dubai Export and Import who?" when asked about that key client of Spongetech.
So somehow Spongetech manages to provide confirmation letters for its customers not only in Spanish, but also in Arabic and in Russian, using the cyrillic alphabet? Somehow I don't think so ;)
Of course, ymmv.
