Still doesn't make sense. I don't know of to many companies that would do that. If your ready to release news that late in the day then why not wait and release first thing Monday morning? Imo putting a NR out before a weekend will often be lost in the shuffle. Expecially with the first NR which was coupled to a long weekend also.
