ameritrade update on dividends:

Mr. ****,

Your recent inquiry into the status of the dividends from Syndication Corp (SYNJ) has been forwarded to our office for review and resolution. I attempted to contact you by phone and left a message.

On 1/26/10, the Depository Trust Company (DTC) received notice from the transfer agent of SYNJ, the restricted shares were being sent to them. They received the shares and processed an exit whereby they removed the position from their books and sent the appropriate shares to the appropriate firms.

The next step in the process is having the contra firms send the amount of owed shares to the transfer agent to be re-registered and delivered to the appropriate firm. In this case, Merrill Lynch will receive a lump certificate from DTC, they will then need to send the certificate back to the transfer agent to then receive broken down certificates for the companies they owe shares to. Lastly, they will then send the certificates to the appropriate firms to which they owe shares, TD AMERITRADE included, after which, payment will be posted to your account.

Unfortunately, I cannot tell you how long this will take, but we will be aggressive in our claims to receive these shares. Any attempt to provide you a timeframe would strictly be a guess. I understand your frustration over this matter, but I hope this information has shed some light on the situation.
