i got this from a friend trying to figure out the puzzle interesting no reply times 2 Dear Mr. Akram,
I am contacting you in your capacity as Investor Relations & External Affairs manager for Dana Gas.
Reference is made to the Dana Gas 12/31/09 operational update, released 1/31/10, and, specifically, to the page six (6) section regarding drilling results in Block Four (4) of the JDZ by Sinopec/Addax. The report states (sic) that Kina 1-X was a non-commercial gas discovery and Malanza 1-X “found no significant hydrocarbons”.
My question is how did Dana Gas arrive at these conclusions? Representatives from ERHC Energy (22% interest) say, as of today, 2/4/10, that they have not received the drilling analysis from Sinopec/Addax, the operator and sole source of official data, and, to the best of their knowledge, neither has the JDA.
Is the conclusion a result of Dana Gas’ own internal analysis, reached by analyzing the cumulative daily drilling data received from the operator until the end of the first week in January, 2010 when phase one (1) concluded, or did Sinopec/Addax provide Dana Gas this information exclusively?
For your information, I am an investment adviser in the U.S..
Thanks for your prompt attention to this matter.
Regards,
