Did anyone else notice that the authorized shares increased just under 50% (49.751%)? That is a significant increase!

Can someone explain to me why a company would increase the number of authorized shares by 50% before being bought-out? That doesn't seem likely to me. Rather, I see us a being the buyer....

Insight, anyone?
