I cannot disagree with what you state, coastiretired, certainly the system is open to abuse and is often abused by those with hidden agendas. That said, from what I have seen personally, many of the deleted posts contain a lot of good DD, then slip in a personal attack that justifies its removal. I think the very fact that Ihub instituted the review of removed posts shows their intention to curb the power of corrupt mods and not facilitate their unfair application of the TOU.
Bottomline, I've been around stock messageboards for 12 or 14 years now, and after experiencing the likes of RB and Yahoo! et al, I think Ihub does an excellent job of policing its boards within the limits of what is possible and permissible. It is up to the SEC to search out and punish fraud, Ihub merely provides a site for the exchange of ideas.
