Making a WAG, I think that royalties for PS3 could be 10 times that of PS2 (per console). What do you think?

I think that would be difficult for a game console. It represents about $75 - $100+ of Rambus content. (Depending on the royalty rate you want to assign).

Sony has over a year before they start producing PS3. I suspect they still don’t have a firm handle on COG. Everything is new and still in development. But they’ll do everything possible to minimize costs.
