Finally done with work for the day and was stopping to look through the Den and CDIV posts. Good grief people, slow down. I don't have time to read through 2000 posts. :)
Anyway, just wanted to say (after only being here a couple weeks), I'm completely sold on the float lock-down plays. A few months back when I first got into investing/trading, I joked with my wife that it would be really great to quit my "real" job and do this full time. After what CDIV has done in the past few weeks for my portfolio and reading many of the den posts, I no longer think of that as a joke. It's become more a question of when rather than if or how.
I just finished making my hotel and plane reservations for PHX, so I'll get to meet some of you there. We were trying to get Grandma to watch the kids that weekend so that my wife could come as well, but no such luck (it'll just be me). Although my wife is very supportive, I think she is still a bit skeptical of me actually being able to quit my job someday. I thought it might help to meet some people that have actually pulled off that trick.
Anyway, this is my very long-winded way of saying thanks to Monk and the Den for sharing plays like CDIV and EIGH with anyone who's interested and letting a small (currently, at least :) ) investor like myself go along for the ride.
