MSFT div., Index Funds...Speculation

if my memory serves me right, read somewhere gates gets 1/3, individuals 1/3 and the Index fund share was around 12 billion.

Is there some rule index funds have to invest that cash the next day?

There has been a lot of spec about how its going to effect the market, me thinks no one quite knows what will happen, I say the da boys sell and distribute the event...I mean its just to simple to think the market is going to shoot through the roof.

Thoughts?
