'TechStockBob' Yes India can be like USA in 100 years as you said provided they move away from the caste based society. You know, India is a country with millions and millions of people classified as untouchables. In Indian society there are numerous vertical and horizontal frictions. There are regional, sectarian, and ethnic conflicts brewing under the surface and these can tear that country apart.

Contrary to India, there are far more chances for that country to be a biggest economy of the world and replace USA in couple of decades. China is consist of mostly on one ethnic group just as USA. Very small ethnic and religious groupings. That is the strength of any country. JMHO
