Settlement and Short aren't the same thing, nor do the numbers even back up this theory.

In January there were 53,524,023 shares shorted per that list. Other than NITE there were approx 42M shares traded in January by MM's. That means even if EVERY transaction by those other MM's were with NITE (the only way to get the maximum number of transactions with 2 different MM's) you'd still have 11M shares short. Then when you consider that you aren't going to have NITE involved in each transaction with those other MM's it only increases that number.
