Imo, "Entitlements", which means we are ENTITLED to them...why?...because we paid for them, could easily be fixed. SS and Medicare are 2 of the most successful gov programs EVER.

Why is it that the REAL albatross is hardly ever mentioned?.........MILITARY SPENDING.

It is a fact that the GOP agenda since Reagan has been to pit military against social spending in order to squeeze the latter. So far, we have been able to borrow to keep that from happening, but no more.......we've hit the wall. Mercans now have to choose between being kept safe from sheepherders and the services they enjoy. Should be telling as to the intelligence and character of folks in this country.
