My big gripe with magazines is the practice of chopping the articles into little bits and printing them all throughout the publication.

And to make this even more annoying, the practice of omitting numbers on pages filled with advertising. Since some magazines can run a dozen or more pages consecutively with advertising, one must count from the last number to locate where to continue reading.

Don't get me started with the all too common practice of printing certain ads on paper that is much stiffer than the rest. One almost needs to put the magazine in a vice to read it. One slip of the fingers and the stiff page flips you to a reader's never-never land.

Or how about those subscriptions that expire in eleven months from now. You get a renewal notice. They hope you're stupid enough to lend them your money, interest free, for almost a year.

Oh Shit! I just thought about childproof caps on senior's medicine bottles. You know, your arthritis has you in agony and you cannot open the bottle unless you have an axe. This deserves a rant of its very own.

Cheers, PW.
