Yes sgolds, I agree, 64bits will spur on an upgrade, if you 18year old needs a new computer because he can't run halo3 say, most people, if they have the money, just get one :) legacy is important and as far as I can remember has always been part of Intel's history.

Yup, AMD and Intel will benefit :) I'm not sure about critical mass of software in 2005, I'd bet 2007 myself :) but whenever, it will be good for both companies.
