For those that claim currency in circulation is uknown and classified.
FACT: that's a bald faced lie to confuse.

Line 73, currency outside of banks. Last reported in Dec of 2009 as 21.8 Trillion.

http://www.cbi.iq/documents/Key_Financial_Indicators_Documentation.pdf
a - Currency outside banks, i.e., the currency component of the money supply as
shown in the Analytical Balance sheet (Item 8) which is derived from the following sources(currency put into circulation reported by Issuing Dept.

Now that is clear as day to a third grader. Not sure why you are having such a hard time understanding.
The US Fed Res bank doesn’t call it M0 either, they also call it currency outside of banks.
http://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/h6/current/h6.htm
Click on M1 at the top of the first chart. Then scroll down to table 3. The break down M1 and give you the currency part of M1.
It’s currently. It’s currently 864 billion
The 1 beside the word currency… means
1. Currency outside U.S. Treasury, Federal Reserve Banks and the vaults of depository institutions
That is almost exactly how Iraq words theres.

So there you have an absolute comparison.
We have 864 Billion of something that Iraq has 22 Trillion of.
It’s currency in circulation. You can whine and moan, and obfuscate because it doesn’t say M0. You can call those numbers what ever you want to, but the fact is they are both reporting the same thing…. We have 864 billion. Iraq has 22 Trillion
