Dadgummit about the Universal DVDs:

the line where it states that less space is used up so that more space can be used for bonus features really leans towards MVSN's rather than SCMI's product.

If you're talking "space" wise on the DVD, SCMI is known to use an archaic structure which is known to be inefficient in terms of "storage" and "space" (you can even see the content on any CD that you put into your PC, just go to "my computer" then right click "open with" and then you can open up the content with any autodecryptor such as Sandtrap or Netintercept.

And here is the history of MVSN:

"Macrovision's technologies are embedded in over 8.9 billion DVD, VHS and CD units representing over $130 billion of protected entertainment content."

LOL you tell me who the leader is:

"SEATTLE, Nov 1, 2004 (Reuters) - Macrovision Corp. (MVSN.O: Quote, Profile, Research) , which makes software to prevent copying of movies, said on Monday that sales rose nearly 60 percent but that its profit fell on higher amortization and other charges."

Amortization simply means depreciation of intangible property which doesn't affect cash flow... LOL. Don't confuse SCMI with MVSN. Yes, this is like David vs. Goliath in a wrestling match.
