ypsiCPA: "Feb 12" Do you mean Feb22? Let me get this straight. According to FINRA data, 35% of all 12/17 Big Dump Day trades were short; 92% of 12/18 trades were short; 40% of 12/19 trades were short.

Total shares shorted in three days 12/17 -> 12/19: 346,550 shares short out of 881,220 shares traded. How can they cover these CTGI shares in T+3 respectively without sending the price soaring?

In any case, they're shorting the stuffing out of CTGI.

Re: ypsiCPA: Thanks for the links. Is short interest now reported on a daily basis? Can you explain how the numbers are to be interpreted from day to day? A bit puzzled by them.

CTGI
Date..Short Volume..Total Volume
2/17/10.. 231,760....... 658,560
2/18/10.. 45,995........ 49,895
2/19/10.. 68,795........ 172,795

These are only my opinions and sentiments, not an endorsement to buy or sell anything. Buying stocks is risky; you could lose all of your investment. Always do your DD.

Buying gold won't save your soul, but it could save your skin one day.
