More on the new President: Sony Classical Ups Offenbach

Sony Classical has promoted Marc Offenbach to senior VP of marketing and sales. Offenbach joined the company in 1998 as VP of sales and was upped to senior VP of sales three years later.

In his new role, he is responsible for Sony Classical's marketing and sales activities,
as well as product management. He will also serve as marketing liaison to other divisions of Sony Music.

Based in New York, he reports to Peter Gelb, president of Sony Music, and Tom Donnarumma, executive VP of sales for Sony Music Label Group
