Pisa, I have a question in regards to shorts.
I hope i won't come out sounding stupid.
Is it true that if I am holding a stock and have a sell order in, the stock cannot be shorted? Even if sell price is not logical? If so, with a stock that has a low float and there is a large amount shorted out there, if a number of shareholders put in sell orders, will that force the shorts to cover?
TIA for your answer and I appreciate very much your picks and opinions that you post.
