I agree with your concern... it is exactly what I thought when I read the post. These email and telephone communications with JD are great, but I wish someone with access to JD would ask him directly about the differene between what he said to Sho and what he is saying now. Something has to have changed because how could he say that he was dying to put out a PR but could not, verses what he is saying now, or NOT saying now, regarding partners etc. My other concern is his statement that once the prototype is built their ideas can then be tested. I know you need a prototype to test ideas, but what has he been trying to sell potential partners on if his ideas have not even been tested? I don't think I am be cynical or overly critical. These questions seem quite obvious and hard to ignore in my mind. As I have said in my past postings, I am a long-term investor with many shares which I have no intention of selling until things become much more clear. I just hope that someone asks JD directly about partners and whether anything has changed since being so enthusiastic back when he spoke with Sho. He certainly still seems enthusiastic, but no longer seems to be on the verge of making the announcements that he indicated he would be making back then. Something has changed, the question is what.
