I think you are kind of missing the point...

you ask:

Do you have any ideas on improving that to get something of a weighed assessment on management effectiveness relative to others, that may be realistic, versus a superficial (possibly self serving) popularity poll?

Answer no. Or I guess if I were motivated to in some way I would, but I'm not.

Now for the point. Midtier claimed that the "majority" disapproved of management. However, with a survey which clearly shows 65%+ of shareholders approving of management, he is wrong. That's all my goal was, to prove him wrong, because he is consistently wrong. And to show him how wrong he is, is a battle of egos. Mine being bigger than his, I win.

Now if you want to motivate me to come up with "ideas on improving that to get something of a weighed assessment of management effectiveness" then you are calling on my incredible McKinsey like consulting skills, for which I charge over $200 per hour. Pay me, and I'll get motivated and come up with the ultimate scorecard for assessing management's ability to handle money, the psychology of the shareholder base, negotiation skills, and I'll even throw in some fashion advice as to a nice selection of ties for PN to wear.
