Since DG chipped in his 2cents I won't say a lot. My guess was there was a little shuffling on the MM's part when you had your order in. Once they bumped to .25 you weren't on the ask anymore so you're technically just a bid. The bid widened out to .22 and they filled you. Now I didn't see the L2 but that was my guess from the story you painted. I went back to the trades section here on Ihub and my theory was confirmed. When the buy went off it was trading .022 x .025.
