IMO the election proved that a majority of residents remain opposed to biomass on the mill site by the fact that those opposing the Laidlaw project were reelected and remain a majority. And the fact that the attorney hired by the previous Council remains on board protecting the City’s interest by exposing issues Laidlaw will not be able to overcome.
