QuoteMedia Signs Partnership Agreement With Knobias to Develop Professional Version of Real Time QUOTESTREAM Product

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Aug 20, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Quotemedia.com Inc. ("QuoteMedia") (OTCBB:QMCI) (FSE:QUM/WKN No. 766-665) is pleased to announce it has signed an agreement with Knobias.com to develop a version of QUOTESTREAM(TM) for the professional and institutional markets.

QUOTESTREAM(TM) is a unique, Web delivered, embedded micro-application that offers a broad range of value-added live financial information, such as: Streaming Stock Quotes, Interactive-Live Charts, NASDAQ Level 2 data, Time and Sales, Market Indices, Options, Corporate Research and more in a small (under 150k) Java Applet that requires no downloads or user-resident software.

QUOTESTREAM(TM) has been designed specifically for syndication and private branding to brokerage firms, banks, ISPs and Web portals. The product provides these companies with the ability to offer their users/clients streaming delayed and real time financial data at a cost base significantly below current market prices for similar data.

The QuoteMedia Partner Program is one of the fastest growing affiliate programs on the Web. In the first 120 days of launch, QuoteMedia has already established over 13,000 Web site distributors for QUOTESTREAM(TM), and in total, has achieved over 130,000 Web registrations for its Web tool product lines.
