It would appear that there are those who credit Deros with having more brains and/or business acumen than he actually has. Was he not the person who was responsible for the aborted "used car lot" merger ? Possibly he was looking at the possibility of acquiring used vehicles to deliver his pizzas.
I think when/if the time comes that Deros announces his "grand acquisition" it will be considered a non event and the DNNC PPS will further deteriorate. There are so many pizzas in the store freezers today that it's difficult to choose. I always go for the ones on sale, when I choose my semi annual " buy a frozen pizza ". What possible "synergistic" venture fits in with frozen pizza ? Maybe a dog grooming service or possibly a baby diaper delivery service ?
