When I got my resticted shares transferred I did not have to pay anything. When they issued the restricted shares to me there was a blanket opinion letter filed with the transferring company for any person to get them transferred for free. I have heard recently that the letter was no longer useful. I don't know why it would not be available any longer.
Maybe Michael Wirtz could shed some light on this for you because he was the CFO at the time, maybe he might know why it not useful anymore.
