[OT] VZ must be losing money on each FiOS customer if my installation is even close to being typical. A technician arrived between 8am and 9am ET this morning and, five hours later, is still working. At times, two additional VZ people—including a supervisor—were on the premises. All this to string fiber from the line under the street into the basement and to connect one PC and one TV by coaxial cable, which required some drilling.

No wonder VZ’s stock has been a dog.
