thanks for the info glass;

on DNDN take a look at an 8 or 10 year chart. i used stockcharts.com and my 3 vol indicators were obv, accum/dist, and cmf, you will be able to see with the eye were the naked short selling started.

with regard to trading strategy; i currently use RSI for momentum and wont enter unless into and back out of the 30 line or a cross above the 50 from below.

trend - i also use MACD, but i will enter below center line if the MA cross has a steep angle and the histogram has reversed over the center line.

volume is where i am stuck. my current strategy has been to get emails from another IHUB board 'Wealth University'(the head moderator will email u all trade in and out of each position) and ignore all stocks which dont meet my above criteria and my current vol criteria.

Which was - obv crossing over its own 30day MA. This strategy usually produces a winner, at least for 2-3 days and a 10-20% gain, in many cases more and longer term trades too. but while all my cash is currently tied up in one trade im trying to work out the bugs. with your info and what i came across on a few stocks like DNDN, it seems i really need to also ignore stock that have the above 3 criteria but have a several month-long downward slope on the accum/dist line(which were the trades where my system failed by the way). or i may get rid of the obv altogether and use accum/dis with it 30 day MA as my signal. for some reason accum/dis i felt reacted a little late though. i may end up requiring a near cross on either but that at least one be up and one flat. if one is down, i think i will pass.

love ur input so far and if u have the time i would love to here more detail on ur strategy

thanks again - con
