They aren't FACTS unless you cite the source and it can be verified. They certainly aren't FACTs just because you say they are.

I'll save you the trouble. These 'facts' are copied and pasted from this article:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/300888-nascar-love-for-stickers-continues-to-stick-around

In contrast, here's an official NASCAR PR:

http://www.nascar.com/2010/news/headlines/official/02/10/contingency.awards.sponsors/index.html

Here's some facts from that official NASCAR press release, with added boldface:

The NASCAR Prize Money and Decal Program, commonly referred to as the Contingency Program, is administered by the Charlotte, N.C.-based NASCAR Automotive Group. The program strives to build strong relationships with high-quality, performance-driven brands that are leaders in their respective categories and award money to NASCAR teams via per-race and year-end awards. Competitors become eligible for prize money by displaying sponsor decals on the front fender of their race vehicles. In some instances, use of a sponsor's product is also required.

As has been noted repeatedly, contingency program stickers do not pay a cent to the teams unless they win. That's why it's called 'prize money'. The companies pay NASCAR to be part of the program (which is why NASCAR tech inspectors check the decal locations...get it?) and NASCAR administers the payment through the Contingency Program if the team happens to win. Otherwise, there is no cash benefit to having the stickers on the car.

The DLR trucks are sponsored by various BW/Daisy companies, srloan's Alpha Acquisitions, exactly as listed on the DLR website sponsor page:

http://www.ramirez-motorsports.com/page5.html

Seneca Cigarettes may or may not stay on as a sponsor after the Daytona race. Let's wait and see. Single-race sponsorship deals are not uncommon.

Now, will you please stop trying to tell everyone that the team is sponsored/paid for by Sunoco, Goodyear and other contingency program participants?

Racing trucks is fun and all that, but running a race team has nothing to do with selling beverages. If advertising/brand recognition is the point, it's still a lot cheaper to just sponsor the trucks than own and run them AND be unable to sell all the main ad space on the trucks to pay for running them. If owning the team were a more affordable option, then the sponsors would all own their own teams and that's not the case.
