I find it interesting that bigdrive himself hasn't weighed in yet.....and now you're inserting YOUR WORDS into what HE SAID to try to prop yourself up. bigdrive never said "value"; here's what he DID say: "This is not an either or proposition. There has to be an increase in pps for this deal to work. An increase in shares will only cause the pps to fall in equal proportion, resulting in the same dollar investment. JMHO
And he said the above in response to a comment I made to chuckerfmfla. In bigdrive's words: "gunnabe - You said: "So, for the Dutchess deal to generate the full $35Mill, either the price must increase significantly sometime soon, OR more shares must be authorized by us OR some combination of higher price / more shares must occur."
Thus the "argument" as you choose to label it [i viewed it more as an attempt at civilized discussion with bigdrive and chuckerfmfla], wasn't an argument at all.
So, I'm surmising that something's got your dander up enough to cause you to start lying about what bigdrive actually said. The only thing I can see is a compliment that I bestowed upon you by stating that bigdrive must be your understudy. lol.....seemed complimentary to me that I, or anyone for that matter, would acknowledge here in public that you've achieved mentor like status.......
My capitulation, that's a good one not worthy of reply.......
Here's a few unanswered questions from our dialogue. I'd appreciate your two cents on them......
1) When did I suggest: "that an increase in shares could occur without a decrease in pps but at exactly the same time as an offsetting increase in value that would maintain the existing pps strains credibility to the limit."
2)And when did I shy away? "I don't know why you shy away from the concept that the value of the company HAS to increase in order to complete the deal. Furthermore that increase in value MUST end up reflected in the pps."
3)And yes I agree, market perception plays a central role to market cap. And I'm sure you'd agree that the market doesn't always have 20/20 VISION in this regard.....sometimes the market will put too much value on an enterprise, and often times, not enough......Is $11Mill enough for DNAP
4) This one is new. Can you clarify your statement for us, we'd like to hear your specific thoughts on what it "means": "I agree that the 4% discount is incredibly significant, as I have previously stated. Although I doubt that it means what you think it means."
