Money alone will not make it happen,look at Sony's "betamax", with it superior sound and clarity, destroyed by the requirement of size and convenience.

SCMI's "enhancements", may be the key-----When The Husband puts the dvd into the player, the wife is never ready, she has a few more dishes to do, or make popcorn......If scmi enhancements could include VIDEO GAMES , CLEVER ENHANCEMENTS TO ENTERTAIN THE person waiting.
