This post is from someone on IV who really believes in GNVC:

"Can GNVC go all the way by themselves
I certainly believe they can now. While I hope they won't need to issue that many shares to get $150 million, under 5 million shares would be great, but I could live with 10.

What I like is what we're hearing from the company. They reiterated what they said years ago about maintaining ownership in the U.S. certainly the most lucrative market in the world. In time, TNFerade could easily do over a billion in sales in the U.S. alone, typically the cost could be up to a third of the sales, so GNVC could see over $650 million, roughly $6 a share in earnings, just from the U.S. market. If GNVC partnered the drug, I doubt it could get over 25% royalties, or $250M a year, that's $400M more a year when TNFerade does a billion in sales in the U.S.

Essentially GNVC has made a statement, there will be no partnership if it's not on terms acceptable to them. They will not be one of those Biotech's that cave into the Vulture's that big Pharma become when they sense weakness. They are also saying, we're confident in our product, if you want part of the action, you have to be willing to pay.

A few months ago I believe we'd all have said they must partner because they cannot possibly do it alone. Today I'd say I still expect a partner because there are many very big Pharma's who's pipelines are weak, but who have lots of cash, they may be vulture's when they can get away with it, but when they see something they really want, they can afford to pay for it. I believe that TNFerade is a drug that several may be interested in, but one will certainly want it enough to come to terms with GNVC.

As to the question is $150 enough. At this point I still don't believe GNVC intends to manufacture the drug themselves, if they do, it's possible they'd need more, but otherwise, this authority along with what they already have in hand should be more than sufficient to reach approval. They've laid down the gauntlet the question is, will a partnership be made sooner, under terms slightly more favorable to the partner, or will they be made after approval when GNVC will virtually be holding all the cards."
