Apparently Walter was selling diamonds at the Manitoba conference like hot cakes. A friend that attended said he sold 40 half-carat stones for $2500 apiece.

They have also started on the ground geophysical program at Swan River near Dauphin Manitoba. Years ago an old prospector named Paul Urbanovitch found diamond in gravels near his father's farm. Paul had worked previously as a prospector in the Yukon and NWT and was quite experienced at this type of thing. He forwarded the stones to DeBeers in SA for an appraisal and they responded with a demand letter to tell them where the diamonds came from. This was conveyed to me years ago by his daughter, Paul died ten years ago.

In other news NAG seems ready for a big spike.
