Ih8aloss, I wouldn't say it's right up their alley,
I would say we fill a hole in their research,
and might complement their efforts at
improving the environment, reducing global
warming, and lengthening the time and amount
of oil in the world, which will bemefit Aramco
because as time goes on and oil is depleted,
the price of oil will rise a lot.

Their research centre in the article I mentioned
10 posts ago seems solely devoted to
the many uses of oil. Is Expec Arc the same
place? KAUST is to fill the resarch arm for
the government and educational system into
the future from the academic arena, and as
we see KAUST is working with KACST so the
government has a hand in everything.

I do agree with the part about their goal of developing
partnerships and funding research. For example,
we are not the first Solar company marching
through. The Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese,
Shell, and many solar companies have done or
are doing MW projects in Saudi Arabia since the
early 1990s. They put solar panels on parking lots then.
By now solar plants are "been there, done that" for them.
That Solterra has a different solar cell, a
different process and is also talking about
being low-cost/grid parity, disruptive technology
and commercially viablity will be the difference maker.

Saudi Arabia could be our biggest client
for the next 20 years. They want to develop
6 new high tech cities under the Kindgom
Project Expansion a 500 Billion dollar project.
They are interested in solar for all energy
uses, which sounds funny because they have
more oil than anyone. Yet they are being the
most responsible citizens and taking action
and putting their money where their mouth is.

That's not including the 500 billion Desertec
of which Saudi Arabia is involved, even though
it will be in Africa.

That's not including the influence Saudi Arabia
has with the Gulf states and their economic
unions and other organizations. That market is
enormous. I understand why you thought we would
be listed on the Abu Dhabi exchange.
