Noooooo! Don't wait for Avatar on DVD. It is a theatrical revolution. You MUST see it in 3-D in the theater or you miss the very reason it is the biggest box-office seller in history. I'm a DVD guy myself and had not paid for a full-price theater ticket in more than 4 years. But I've paid full price to see Avatar twice now. Trust me, you'll want to be one of the people who can say, "Yeah, I saw that movie that changed the film industry...in the theater!"
