ih8aloss; My post#910 wasn't intended to suggest Jabbour or Solterra are involved w/KACST. It was merely an item that came up in todays MENA news. I posted it merely as a reaffirmation of the Saudi goals in the 'solar' arena.
At the same time , Saudi Arabia isn't all that big a place and the fact that this Solar Initiative program is basically driven by one man...the King....I wouldn't be all that surprised if all roads didn't lead to the same place (so-2-speak).
I have seen KAUST & KACST mentioned in the same article a few times before but other than that (& the factors listed above) , I know of no connection (the least of which is Jabbour).
