OT-Clean Energy

We have to be careful when we talk about the Asian nations and their development or supply capabilities.

Recently I've read about a Chinese Company reaping the benefits of two or three new wind farms starting in the U.S. The headlines are basically leading us to believe that the Chinese are more competitive or advanced than our own companies.

The Chinese Company is either A-Power or one of its subsidaries. The real truth is that A-Power is a manufacturer that license's it's technology from both Germany’s Fuhrlander and America's GE. A-Power originally used all of Ge's technology.

As far as I know for the most part the China firms at this point are nothing more than low cost sweatshops providing the labor for American or European Companies. There are many obstacles to foreign ownership of companies in china so most establishments run on contracts like this.
