I don't take pot shots at the exit price hoping that I hit it before it starts to go back down. I set the exit price at a number where I will be content at the amount of chips I take out of the kitty.
In otherwords, If I cash out and i'm happy with the take I don't kick myself in the ass if it keeps going up. A perfect example is Lajolla Pharmaceuticals.
I bought LJPC at .06 and cashed it out around .14 The damn thing shot up to around .34 cents on a 10K that stated they were on the edge of going under. You have to have inside info to know when their gonna make a run like that.
When it hit .34 they released a PR stating bankruptcy was off the table. I sent them an email saying "thanks guys, a little late don't ya think", people who were privy to inside info raked all the way up to .34
After they released the PR guess what happened, the insiders bailed and it dropped to .14, so all the peons that bought in on the news at .34 took a beating.
Just remember if theres an RS, to play the jump off the new investors without getting greedy and set a price that will make you happy whether it keeps going up or not.
