I have been in contact with a mining equipment salesman in Magadan for about a year. He is not a company plant or a friend of 2C as some on Buddy's board have tried to claim. I found him when googleing the name "Magadan Gold Mining". He was being interviewed by a reporter and they gave his name, I did a google search of his name and facebook came up so I sent him a message and he responded. He went to the Aurus website and at first was very impressed, but after the video came out and he looked into a few things his outlook changed.
I tried to share some of this information yesterday on Buddies board and was slammed and the posts were deleted. I gave enough information for anyone really wanting to know the truth to confirm or rebut what was said. No one there ever even considered contacting the the head of the Magadan province dept of natural resources, unreal.

as for myself, I'm from Magadan. I'm Evien. its an aboriginal group from this area. went to college in Alaska for 5 years. then came back "to give back to the community" :)
where are you in the states? I'm going to Seattle, Van and Texas in the mid sept to get several dozers there. so, we can meet.

I live in Michigan, so you will be a long way from where I live but I would like to meet you if possible.
I found you when I did a Google search for Magadan gold, you were in a video report and they gave your name, I goggled your name and facebook popped up.
As you can see on the AURC board, many people claim AURC to be a scam run out of Canada. I do not believe it is and certainly hope it is not. My investment is small, but if it turns out to be real I stand to make a nice profit.
Are the dozers you buy in the States new? There are a lot of used dozers in Michigan real cheap. Michigan has been the worst hit by the downturn in the economy due to us relying so heavely on the automotive industrie. And what does it cost to ship a dozer to Magadan?
Some dozers and excavators have been ground up for scrap, good working ones, very sad. There is a sale near me once a year and the last two years many go unsold and are hauled to the crusher.

as for dozers, I get used ones. mostly Komatsu D375A-2 series. as there are bunch of them here. they were purchased way back when.
and now all need to be fixed. despite the good gold price,many artels can't replenish the fleet and have no choice but to buy parts and fix old machines.

Re: Dovgan and Co. I don't want to bad mouth but I hear many bad stories of these group of people.
Dovgan was the head of the bus station in Susuman area, then found some old prospector from Yagodnoe who showed them a good place deposit. and where with minimal resources they produced good volumes of gold. never paid their dues to peoples who helped them with equipment and loans, etc. then he left for Moscow.
and all people there heard that "he is involved in some stock scams in Moscow..."
but send me the names of the deposits and I'll ask my friends in mining districts to check on what's really going on there.

sure, I'll get exact numbers for you. in short, it all depends on the size of deposit. 30kg ones cost about 5K and 200kg ones cost up to 30-40K for license and permits. also, I'll put a chart on russian procedures for you.
I don't know about dangerous, it all depends on you and people you deal with.
