Usually when a small company gets a loan or some type of private funding it requires collateral. If your net worth is $100 no financial institution or investor would lend you $1M unless you had something to back it with. Quasar is a small company with just about no revenue and a few assets. What motivation does anyone in their right mind have to lend them $350M. That is a lot of freakn' money!!! Wouldn't you agree? So that means, they have something in the works that is BIG. VERY VERY BIG!! The increase in shares was announced, meaning that the company's stock price is adjusting to the infusion of working capital. If you do the numbers, it works out as this -> 10M MRK CAP/750M OUTSTAND SHARES = 0.013 PPS (that was the real PPS, more or less PR hype and so forth). Moving forward, the adjustment needs to reflect the over all value of company, meaning that $350M (and some)/150M OUTSTAND SHARES = 0.25 PPS. Then, the financier wants their incentive at 40% (600M shares @ .23 = $138000000). Which sounds about right for the amount that is being loaned towards an idea. Lets step back and think about the big picture!! Quasar must have a good idea, such as a rotary engine design, hint hint... that has some special potential. If you look back in time, you'll see Mr. Dean has made some good money for his company and investors. This guy is a superman in my book. 13000+% growth over 12 months. No half a donkey's behind can do that in such a short period of time. That's a fact!! I hope I have is stamina when I get to be his age. Bottom line is that the guy loves his job and is good at running business. He has good ideas and a lot of future potential. The best investing strategy is to invest with the big boys. For what ever reason Dean, which is still not fully revealed itself to us, someone(s) is dumping over a quarter billion into his business. That's a A+ buy buy buy a super duper deal steal get rich big time signal. You don't have to be an experienced investor to know that, just a Jake six pack with a couple extra bucks to invest.
