here is the link to the infineon part from their web site. I know this is a real part since we were looking at using this last year in a start up until money dried up. It was going to be a MTU type router with a couple if Gigabit Ethernet up links. We also had a design for an inline repeater if we really had to go any farther. It was really a neat part, we could just remove the standard ethernet phy and replace with these parts, all the other layers remained the same. They also had an out of channel communications link between the CO and CPE to set subsciber bit rates.
