I think that people get this concept of using a waterless toothbrush all
wrong, IMO. To me, it is not an "either/or" thing. It can be used with
LESS water than normal.
It can be used with NO water if necessary when you travel in countries
with less than confidently sanitary water. But I really never thought
that I would use it without maybe taking a swig of water
to rinse and/or dribble some water on the brush if I was out where there
was limited supply of safe water.
This "surprise" market in Vegas is one I would never have thought of,
and I agree that I do not think everyone what use the toothbrush without
any water whatsoever. But I would not be surprised
if there was less water being used with some people.
I still think that the "take away' of the brush makes it a novelty that
can spread as people take it home. The fact that it may have some effect
on the amount of water use in Vegas, in my view, is
just icing on the cake. Either way, it will help with broader marketing.
I like that they are thinking out of the box.
The sooner they announce orders from distributors with dollar amounts,
the quicker UTRM will start rebounding. But waiting ticks off everyone.
I may be stupid, but I view that my purchase at .025 will give me a 100%
gain at $0.05. And I can wait for my first buy to be profitable later
(cause I bought it at $.069 before the NY trade show.) Orders are the thing
to turn UTRM are around. Until then, any seller controls the stock. Buyers will
coome in when the orders come in. Pure and Simple
