Yes, the three zones are back.
"Thus, a total of 19 oil blocks divided into 3 zones namely A, B and C, the company ERHC Equator and will each carry a preferential right over 2 blocks. According to the technical source of the National Agency of Petroleum, the state of Sao Tome blocks divided into 3 zones. Each company can only choose 1 block in each area, explained the technical source of the National Petroleum Agency. "

This might work to our benefit, however. Recall that in the heirarchy of picks we have slots #4 and #5 for 100%, plus two 15%ers in any blocks.

EEL has the #1 and #2 pick with STP retaining #3 position.

So, assuming that all bidders value zones/blocks equally (I know this may not be true), but assume it is, tehn we choose the #3 in one zone and #2 pick in the second zone vs the #4 and #5 picks if there was just one big zone. (I dont' know if I'm communicating this well, but the zones IMO are an asset to us due to our #4,5 positions.)

Not sure how we'll deal with the 15% choices....

All my speculation...
