Cannot possibly express how disappointed I was to see that the particular bill which they are supporting has a "cap and trade" aspect attached to it. That will, and should, be the death knoll to that bill. Why can we not have legislation that promotes the advancement of alternative energies and their associated job creation without completely unnecessary additional government intrusion???
It is, quite simply, a good idea to develop and promote sources of alternative energy and it's applications, if for no other reason than to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, to whatever extent possible.
Mr. Smith went to Washington, but should have been pushing for this bill's demise, not it's passage.
